Utilized by thousands of installers and designers of photovoltaic systems on flat roofs, Sun Ballast’s Connect system represents the ideal solution when the goal is to ensure maximum wind resistance without excessively loading the roof of the building.

In this system, each photovoltaic weight is connected to all others in a single grid: this perfectly balanced distribution of loads across the entire roof allows for lighter weights, ensuring resistance to atmospheric events even in the presence of strong wind gusts. Like all Sun Ballast structures for photovoltaic panels, those used in the Connect system also do not require any fixing holes, ensuring a simple and fast installation on all types of flat roofs.

The 18 kW system shown in the photo was installed in Puget-sur Argens, France, by our client Visio Devis using the 5° inclination version, one of the many available for this configuration: the three different photovoltaic weights that make up the Connect system – front, central, and terminal – are indeed available with inclinations of 5°, 10°, 15°, 20°, and 30° and already contain fixing bushings inside them: therefore, simply place the weights, lay the panels, fix the clips, and the installation is complete.
