This 59.40 kWp photovoltaic system was installed on a large flat sheathing roof in Buccinasco (MI) by our customer TDK Service, and thanks to Sun Ballast’s Single-Row 15° system, the installation was quick and easy. In fact, the photovoltaic structures combine both support and ballast functions in a single solution, and since they do not require any fixing holes, they represent a simple and extremely versatile system that can be used for all flat roof photovoltaic systems.

The PV ballasts of the Single-Row system are available in a wide range of inclinations (from 0° to 30°), allow PV panels to be fixed both horizontally and vertically, and offer the possibility of unconstrained modulation of the distance between rows.

The addition of the No-Flex system – the solution developed by Sun Ballast to prevent bending of large panels – has also made it possible to increase the number of support points from 4 to 6, while respecting all support parameters: the insertion of the special steel bracket on the additional ballast in fact allows the panel to be fixed on the central part as well, further improving its structural strength and reducing the risk of bending to zero, even in the presence of strong wind gusts.
