Sun Ballast photovoltaic weights are now used by thousands of installers worldwide. The reason? Their great simplicity: the concrete structures serve both as weights and supports, requiring no anchoring holes in the roof and can be easily placed on any type of flat surface.

This photovoltaic system on a flat roof was implemented in Switzerland by our client Le Guide Solaire, and the use of the Single-Row 10° system minimized both the difficulty and the assembly time: the weights do not require any complex accessories (bars, casings, etc.) and can be quickly laid even on gravel roofs. As visible from the photos, each Sun Ballast photovoltaic weight also contains – already pre-inserted in the concrete – the M8 bushings to which the clamps are attached; this way, there is no need to drill holes in the structure, and the wind resistance remains strong and secure even in the presence of intense gusts.

The installation of the panels is then significantly simplified: just place the module on the weights, attach the clamps to the bushings, and the installation is complete. The Single-Row system is available with inclinations of 0°, 3°, 5°, 10°, 11°, 15°, 20°, and 30°, allowing for freely adjusting the distance between the rows and is compatible with all Sun Ballast accessories.
