High wind resistance, reduced roof load, and simple, safe, and fast installation: the Connect system by Ballast represents an extremely solid and reliable solution, ensuring the highest level of stability for PV panels on flat roofs even in the presence of strong weather events. In the Connect system, each photovoltaic weight is connected to the other structures in a single grid: this way, loads are distributed across the entire network of weights, offering very high resistance and balancing weights evenly across the entire surface.

The photovoltaic system in the photo reached 42 kWp and was implemented in Vrakuňa (Slovakia) by our client JV Energy: the installation was carried out on the flat roof of an industrial building, and the Sun Ballast concrete weights simplified all installation phases, requiring no anchoring holes and minimizing installation times.

The Connect system (here used in the 15° version) is available in a range of inclinations – 5°, 10°, 15°, 20°, and 30°, and consists of three different structures: a front, a central, and a terminal weight. Each photovoltaic weight is made of high-quality concrete, guaranteed for 25 years, and already contains the M8 fixing bushes inside to which the clamps are attached.
