PV systems positioned on flat roofs of commercial or industrial buildings are increasingly common, even in Estonia: the one in the photo was implemented by our client Energiapartner in Tartu using Sun Ballast photovoltaic weights.

The structures of the Single-Row system represent a simple, fast-to-install, and extremely versatile solution, available in numerous inclinations from 0° to 30°. For this installation, the 15° version was selected: like all Sun Ballast weights, these also did not require any fixing holes and allowed for reduced installation times while ensuring high resistance to wind and snow loads.

This system reached a power of 72 kW, and thanks to the characteristics of the Single-Row system, the installation occurred smoothly and quickly, easily managing all obstacles present on the roof. With the Single-Row system, it is indeed possible to quickly modulate both the length and the distance between the rows of panels: this makes managing obstacles and any shading much easier, reduces installation times, and allows for quick installation of the system on any type of flat roof.
