High wind resistance, low load on the roof, and simplicity abound: the Connect system by Sun Ballast represents a secure, durable, and fast-to-install solution, ideal when the goal is to ensure maximum stability for photovoltaic panels even in the face of strong atmospheric stresses. In this special configuration, the cement photovoltaic ballasts are connected in a single grid, offering high strength and balancing loads on the roof throughout the ballast network.

The 160 kWp photovoltaic system is visible in the photo was installed in Harju Maakond, Estonia, by our customer Energiapartner on the roof of a large commercial facility. Sun Ballast’s cement ballasts simplified all installation phases, requiring no anchoring holes and reducing installation times. The Connect system (used here in the 15° version) is available in a range of inclinations from 5° to 30° and consists of three different structures: a front, a central, and a terminal ballast.

Each photovoltaic ballast is made of high-quality cement, is guaranteed for 25 years, and ensures the highest level of reliability for designers and installers of flat roof photovoltaic systems.
