Sheeting roofs are very common, especially on flat roofs of warehouses and commercial establishments, and during the installation of photovoltaic systems this material requires some special precautions: in fact, the protective and waterproofing qualities can be compromised by holes, cuts and tears, and the installation of support structures must be carried out with great care.
Sun Ballast systems are designed to ensure simple, fast and safe installation on any type of flat surface, and by not requiring any fixing holes the ballasts are also the ideal solution on sheathing roofs. In addition, to ensure the maximum integrity of the roof, two special sheaths are inserted between the ballast and the surface: in this way the surface layer of the roof is not damaged in any way, and the installation is carried out quickly and without risk.
One installed on this industrial building in Cambiago (MI) by our client Energia Spa reached a total of 150 kWp of power, and the Standard 10° system used on the flat part of the roof made it possible to reduce the installation time while ensuring excellent wind tightness and maximum stability of the photovoltaic panels.
Thanks to its great flexibility, the Standard system is in fact an extremely versatile solution, widely used both for large industrial installations and for small installations made on houses and apartment buildings: the possibility of easily adjusting the length and the distance between rows of modules allows to easily and effectively adapt the configuration of the system to that of the roof, ensuring solid, reliable and efficient photovoltaic installations.
