Limited space available on the roof is an aspect not to be underestimated during the design and construction of a photovoltaic system, especially if you want to achieve the customer’s stated production objectives.

Thanks to their versatility, Sun Ballast products are an optimal solution even for small systems, just like the one made for our customer STM Servizi srls. For this installation, our technical office recommended the Vela system with an inclination of 5°.

This system allows users to optimise space on the roof thanks to its particular structure, where the ballasts are linked to each other up to a maximum of 6 consecutive rows, without leaving any empty space between the different rows.

To increase the stability of the system and make it even more durable, our customer also used Cablowind, the dual-function Sun Ballast accessory that not only makes the system even more durable but also allows you to keep the entire system tidier, thanks to its shape that facilitates accommodation of the cables.

Thanks to the Vela system and its ability to adapt to small spaces, our customer was able to create a plant capable of producing up to 6 kWp of renewable energy.
