The wind resistance of photovoltaic systems in recent years is becoming an increasingly crucial factor, which is why some of the Sun Ballast systems have been designed and manufactured specifically to be extremely high performing even in high wind conditions. The Connect system, used by the client Infrysol for the realization of this installation, is the ideal system to be used in case of areas particularly subject to wind actions, because thanks to its configuration it is able to create a network of solidarity panels that can withstand directional winds up to a speed of 140 Km/h, as resulted from wind tunnel tests. Our customer has chosen it not only for its solidity but also for the speed and ease of installation that distinguishes the Sun Ballast supports, since they do not need to be fixed to the roof.
