The particular arrangement of the photovoltaic panels obtained with the Sun Ballast Vela system makes it possible to achieve excellent levels of productivity, even when – as often happens in residential contexts – the surfaces are not particularly large.

By eliminating the space between the rows of modules, the ratio between the number of panels and the space occupied by the system becomes extremely advantageous, and in the 5° version (visible in the photo) it is possible to place as many as six ballasts side by side, optimizing all the available spaces in the best possible way.

The versatility of the Sun Ballast systems also allows for quick and practical installation on any type of roofing: the last 4.3 kWp 3VOLT system built in Pordenone was mounted on a sheathed surface and – not requiring any fixing hole – the structures were laid very easily, keeping all the protective properties of the material perfectly intact.

In order to guarantee the highest level of stability and wind resistance to the system, the Sun Ballast Technical Office then suggested the integration of some supplementary weights on the external side of the installation: applied quickly and easily directly on the ballasts , the additional weights have made it possible to significantly increase the resistance to stresses deriving from all atmospheric events, guaranteeing the photovoltaic system the maximum level of solidity, duration and efficiency.
