For over ten years, Sun Ballast support structures have been the absolute reference for all photovoltaic systems installed on flat roofs.
However, the quality and versatility of Sun Ballast solutions also emerge when slightly inclined surfaces are encountered: the long experience of the Technical Office, combined with the solid skills of its over 15 experts, in fact allows all installers and designers to make use of fast, free and professional, extremely useful especially when the characteristics of the plant or the support surface require particularly precise wind calculations.
This is the case of M-TEG – Montage Team Elektrotechnik, our Austrian customer who – with the help of Sun Ballast’s technical assistance – was able to build this almost 15 KWp plant on a slightly inclined sheathed surface in Waldling (Austria).
The modules were fixed on the ballasts of the Standard 0° system: as they did not generate shadows, the rows were positioned next to each other, optimizing all the available space in the best possible way and guaranteeing – also thanks to the addition of polyurethane foam – maximum resistance of the plant.
The insertion of some additional ballast along the perimeter panels has also made it possible to further increase their tightness, increasing the fixing points and making the installation extremely solid, efficient and reliable.
