Our customer Electrofix Group Ltd has set up an impressive installation on the flat roof of an industrial building in Malta. The roof is covered with sheathing, but thanks to Sun Ballast products, installation was simple.

Our ballasts are extremely stable and resistant, with no need to be fixed to the surface, meaning the protective sheathing can remain intact (a crucial detail for industrial structures). The sheath, in fact, is a particular surface that is often used on industrial roofs to ensure waterproofing. The Connect Sun Ballast system has been chosen for this installation, as its characteristics perfectly meet the particular needs of the roofing of industrial buildings.

The Connect system is composed of interlinked ballasts that guarantee a high resistance to wind and a very limited load on the roof, as the weight is distributed evenly over all the available space.
The result of this beautiful installation is a production of 1MW of renewable energy, a truly impressive work!
