On the flat roof of a building in a residential area in Milan, a photovoltaic system was installed using Sun Ballast technology.
Our client, Electricline S.r.l, chose the Connect ballast system as the best suited for their needs: limiting weight load on the roof while still achieving production targets.

The Connect system consists of three separate ballasts joined together to create a “lattice” of interconnected modules. It is very quick and easy to install, and its unique structure allows for even weight distribution and very low load over the whole roof surface.

In this case, supplemental U-shaped 30 kg weights were added to the system, designed specifically to be used on our ballasts without permanently attaching them; their function is to allow for a further increase in wind resistance and strength without drilling a single hole.

Thanks to the use of the Sun Ballast system and the accessories suggested by our technical department during the quotation phase, our client was able to achieve a solid, durable installation capable of producing up to 72 kWp of renewable energy.
